Welcoming the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers!!

Founded in 1986 to promote Scottish traditional music, the fiddlers have over 300 members primarily from Grass Valley to Monterey Bay. Led by Musical Director, Alasdair Fraser, they perform monthly throughout the extended Bay Area. The fiddlers encourage beginners and experienced players to join their club and help celebrate the joy of this music throughout the seasons.
The former club president, Caroline McCaskey, will be leading the performance at the Firehouse on May 15th. Caroline is a renowned string player, Scottish Fiddle Champion, International Musical Saw champion, instructor, and composer. Other members presenting will be a mix of classically trained and adult learners, all enthusiastic promoters of traditional Scottish music and more.
We invite you to come one, come all to the event! Feel free to bring your Scottish friends, those interested in Scottish music or anyone that you think will enjoy the night!
