Scottish Hogmanay Celebration and Potluck

New Year’s Eve on Saturday, December 31, 2016, 1 PM

The Saint Andrew’s Society of San Francisco, 1088 Green St, San Francisco

Come join us for a Scottish Hogmanay (New Year’s) Celebration!

Festivities begin at 1pm with appetizers & drinks. To coincide with midnight in Scotland, we toast in the New Year at 4:00 pm – Pacific time. There will be Haggis, a Potluck Dinner (please RSVP your potluck item to Susan Goodier susan.goodier@gmail.com) and musical entertainment from The Tartan Trio.

The Tartan Trio are violinist Christy Tillotson, violist David Lange, and guitarist Jim Tillotson. The Trio, longtime members of the Peninsula Scottish Fiddlers, offer strathspeys, reels, marches, jigs, airs, and waltzes in the authentic styles of the Northeast, the Highlands, the Borders, the Shetland Isles, and Cape Breton.

The Haggis will be addressed and enjoyed, and a dark haired stranger will be welcomed for first footing. The festivities will take place at the society’s fire house home at 1088 Green St, San Francisco. Valet Parking will be provided.
