St Andrew’s Society Foundation is a tax exempt organization (501-C3) located in San Francisco, California. Donations to St Andrew’s Society Foundation are tax deductible. This organization has been in operation for over 30 years, which makes it slightly older than other nonprofits in the state. St Andrew’s Society Foundation has had larger assets when compared to other nonprofits in California, but the main draw for donations had been the Dr. Dan Reid Memorial Challenge Recital: A Festival of Piping. The Foundation supported world class bagpipe competitions. The Dr. Dan Reid ceased to be held a decade ago, but the Foundation continues to support piping. For the past two years it has contributed to the Saint Florian Pipers Society’s Solo Piping Competition held in Redding each March. They have established a trophy in honor of Dr. Dan Reid’s legacy.
