Please join us the third Monday in October for a special evening of remembrance and fellowship. We will celebrate the memory of past President Gene McCracken and his gift of light to the Firehouse. When Gene passed away, he remembered the Society in his will. This gift was specifically for upgrading the Firehouse’s electrical works and to bring new warmth and light to our meeting room.

Our Candlelight Dinner will also celebrate the lives of those we have lost in the past year, and provide an opportunity to socialize, putting the Society business aside for an evening to enjoy each other’s company.

We will feature a lovely catered dinner, which includes four incredible Scottish courses: a selection of Scottish clapshot, smokies en croute, cullen skink, scotch pies, roasted duck and an array of fabulous Scottish desserts.

To help underwrite this event, we are selling tickets. We also ask that you bring a bottle of wine to share, and, if possible a gift of a battery operated candle for the firehouse which will be used as table lighting during this and other events.

Tickets are limited due to space limitations so please signup early to secure your seat at the table!
